General Writing Guidelines

1. Submission Platform: All manuscripts must be submitted online through the Jurnal Widya Laksmi Open Journal Systems (OJS) submission portal.
2. File Format & Paper Size: Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) on standard A4 paper with single line spacing.
3. Page Length: Articles must be between 8 and 14 pages in length.
4. Page Margins: Margins must strictly adhere to the 3-3-2-2 format:
   
   
   • Left: 3 cm
   • Top: 3 cm
   • Right: 2 cm
   • Bottom: 2 cm
5. Plagiarism & Similarity: Every submitted article will undergo similarity checking using plagiarism-detection software prior to review.
6. Printed Copies: Readers or authors seeking print editions may contact the Jurnal Widya Laksmi editorial team directly.

Manuscript Structure & Typography Specifications

• Article Title: Times New Roman, 14 pt, Bold, Uppercase, Align Left, Single line spacing.
• Author Name(s): Times New Roman, 10 pt, Bold, Align Left (without academic titles).
• Author Affiliation: Department, Faculty, Institution, Address, City, Country (Times New Roman, 10 pt, Normal, Align Left).
• Corresponding Email: Active email address for corresponding authors (Times New Roman, 10 pt, Normal, Align Left).
• Abstract:
  
  
  • Written in both English (Normal font) and Bahasa Indonesia (Italic font).
  • Maximum 300 words in a single paragraph.
  • Must clearly articulate: research/activity objective, implementation method, analysis techniques, results of the activity, and conclusion.
  • Typography: Times New Roman, 10 pt, single spacing.
• Keywords: 3 to 5 relevant terms, separated by commas (Times New Roman, 10 pt).
• Introduction (Pendahuluan):

  • Contains the background context, urgency and rationale of the community service activity, literature review, planned problem-solving approach, objectives, and hypothesis formulation.

  • Outlines the implementation method used in the community service project clearly and in detail.
• Results and Discussion (Hasil dan Pembahasan):
  
  
  • Explains outputs such as improved community knowledge, enhanced practical skills, or physical products.
  • Indicates the degree to which targets were achieved; if a physical product was developed, detail specifications, advantages, and limitations.
  • The discussion must follow the order of the objectives, offering logical arguments linking findings to established theories, related community service outcomes, or previous research.
  • Supported by figures, photographs, graphs, charts, and tables.
• Figures, Graphs, and Tables:
  
  
  • Captions must be positioned cleanly with proper numbering (e.g., Figure 1: Title, Graph 1: Title, Table 1: Title).

• Conclusion and Suggestions (Simpulan dan Saran):
  
  
  • Written concisely to highlight the substance of the outcomes, accompanied by recommendations for future community service activities.

References & Bibliographic Standards

• Citation Style: All citations and the bibliography must follow the American Psychological Association (APA 5th Edition) format.
• Reference Management Tools: Authors are required to use reference management software (such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote) to ensure consistency and facilitate review.
• Reference Count: A minimum of 10 references is required.
• Source Quality & Recency: At least 80% of cited sources must be primary literature (national or international peer-reviewed journals) published within the last 5 years.
• Typography: Times New Roman, 10 pt, Normal.
