Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism occurs when an author uses another work (including ideas, processes, results, or words) without proper permission, credit, or acknowledgment. Jurnal Widya Laksmi strictly opposes any unethical copying or plagiarism in any form. Authors must ensure their submissions are entirely original.

Jurnal Widya Laksmi treats plagiarism as a serious academic offense and will blacklist authors who knowingly present unoriginal material without attribution. Authors are strongly advised to use plagiarism-checking tools (e.g., Turnitin) to verify similarity scores before submission. All manuscripts undergo Turnitin-based screening during editorial assessment.

Types of Plagiarism Recognized
1. Full Plagiarism: Verbatim copying of another work without modification or attribution.

2. Partial Plagiarism: Mixing content from multiple sources with minimal paraphrasing or improper citation.

3. Self-Plagiarism: Reusing significant portions of one’s own previously published work without disclosure or justification.

Editorial Actions
Manuscripts with a similarity score >25% will be returned for revision. Authors must paraphrase, cite sources, or remove duplicated content.
